Gianfranco Foschino (1983) is a key figure in a new generation of artists from Chile.
He studied cinema in UNIACC University (Chile) and University of Buenos Aires (Argentina, 2005). He has participated in several group exhibitions, including: 54th La Biennale di Venezia, Italy (Latin American pavilion - Arsenale, 2011); 9th SITE Santa Fé Biennial, USA (2014); 13th Cuenca Biennial, Ecuador (2016); 13th Media Art Biennial, Chile (2017). He also was the guest artist of MONOLITH CONTROVERSIES chilean pavilion at 14th International Architecture Exhibition, awarded with the Silver Lion prize (2014). He recently had a solo show titled SED curated by Dan Cameron at Matucana 100 Cultural Center (Santiago, Chile). He lives & works in Santiago, Chile.
